SCORM Cloud: How to Reset Your Login and Update Account Information

Introduction

If you are experiencing issues with your login credentials or need to update your account information, such as changing your primary email address or assigning the correct role within your realm, this guide will walk you through the necessary steps to manage your account efficiently.

Resetting Your Login Credentials

Follow these steps to reset your login if you have forgotten your password or are unable to access your account:

  1. Go to the login page of SCORM Cloud and click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link.
  2. Enter your registered email address associated with your account and submit the form.
  3. Check your email inbox for a password reset email and follow the instructions provided to create a new password.
  4. If you do not receive an email within a few minutes, check your local and network spam or junk folder or try resubmitting your email address. In some cases, you may need to add cloudmail.scorm.com to your allowed senders list. If your network filters by IP address, add 198.37.151.39.
  5. If problems persist, contact support for further assistance - support@rusticisoftware.com.

Updating Account Information

To update your account details such as changing your primary email address or adjusting the role assigned in your realm, please follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to your account with your current credentials.
  2. Navigate to the Account Settings or Profile section.
  3. To change your primary email address, select the email field, enter your new email, and save the changes. You may be required to verify the new email address via a confirmation link sent to it.
  4. To update your role within the realm, access the Roles or Permissions section and select the appropriate role. If you do not have permission to change roles, please contact your account administrator.
  5. After making updates, review your account information to ensure all details are correct.

Note: You're not able to change the primary email address for a different user in SCORM Cloud that has created their own account.

Tips and Best Practices

  • Use a secure and memorable password to protect your account.
    • Password must be between 12 and 70 characters long, cannot be a common password, cannot be a substring of your e-mail or company name, cannot contain the user of your e-mail, and cannot be one of the last five (5) passwords you have used.
  • Regularly update your account information to ensure your contact details are current.
  • If you share account access with others in your realm, verify their assigned roles to maintain proper permissions.
