"OK, I have added content to my new account, how do I share that content?"

Great question, let me help you!

*Sharing content through Content Controller is done by generating a compact (proxy) file known as a Dispatch Package. Which you can then share to load into an LMS. This method allows content sharing without divulging the complete course file. This is also your connection for maintaining full control over your content as well as feeding information back into your instance of Content Controller for reporting purposes.

Navigate to your Accounts pool.
Select the account that has the content you would like to share in it and go to that content pool.
Select the content you would like to share and click on the appropriate Share button.
1. Single Share - Click on the content that you would like to share > Click the share button in the Course Details panel.
2. Multi Share - Using the check boxes to the left of the content select each piece of content that you would like to share > Click on Share button show below.
Using the dropdown, select the standard that you would like to use to create the Dispatch.

*Note - Content Controller can create sharable files in the following standards: SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th Editions, AICC, and cmi5. If you have a client that wants to connect via LTI 1.1 or 1.3, we can do that too. Your Dispatch package does NOT need to match your host course. This means if you have a SCORM 2004 course and the LMS you are trying to load the content to only accepts SCORM 1.2 then you can dispatch in 1.2 and the LMS with accept the file.
Click on Get Link. You will be presented with two options. A clickable download link that will download the Dispatch package to your computer or the Copy Link button will copy a link to your clipboard that you can then send to someone. The link will allow them to download the Dispatch package.

A single content Dispatch will be a zip file that can be loaded into an LMS.
A multi content Dispatch will be a "zip-of-zips" that will contain a zip file for each piece of content. *Note - Most LMSs will require that this folder be opened and each content zip be loaded separately.
