There are three ways to manage access to your invitations in SCORM Cloud depending on the type you're using. You can close your invitation to prevent new registrations, disable the invitation altogether, or set a registration cap (*only available on the public invitation option).
Disabling your invitation simply means that it is closed to all learners, including those who have already exercised the invitation. When the user attempts to launch, they'll instead receive a message informing them that the invitation has been disabled.
Closing of an invitation will prevent new registrations from being created. Learners who already have exercised the invitation before it is closed will still be able to launch the course.
The public invitation cap will prevent new registrations once the cap has been reached.
To disable your invitation:
- Log in to your SCORM Cloud account
- Click the "History" tab
- Choose your course from the selections shown by clicking “invitation”.
- Disable Invitation” and your learners will no longer have access to your course.
To Close an invitation:
- Log in to your SCORM Cloud account
- Click the “History” tab
- Filter your Event History by selecting Public Invite or Private Invite from the drop-down menu.
- Now, simply click “Close” and only learners who have previously launched your course will access to your course.
Public invitation cap:
- Log in to your SCORM Cloud account
- When you create your public invitation you'll have the option on the next screen to set a registration cap.
When the cap is reached, the learner will receive an error page to contact the course provider.
