Improvements

  • Adds support for Rise 360 courses that use Rise's newer export format, for SCORM and xAPI (Tin Can) packages.
  • Allows longer values for skill taxonomy entries (up to 2,048 characters), Engine integration credentials (API password, AWS secret access key and HTTP auth header value) and subscription auth secrets. A taxonomy entry over the limit is now rejected during import with a validation error.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixes an issue where a small amount of failed imports could count towards the content imported and unique content imported usage metrics. As part of this fix, records left by earlier failed imports are removed during the upgrade, so those numbers may go down.
  • Fixes an issue where interaction feedback order was not consistent.

Security

  • Updates the backend image's system packages to fix a vulnerability in the Brotli compression library (CVE-2026-111497).
  • Updates dependencies affected by the eMudhra/emSign CA certificate security incident.

Note: Upgrading to 1.22.0 requires a database migration.
