Recently, we enabled xAPI rate limiting in SCORM Cloud in order to protect the stability of SCORM Cloud against excessive traffic.
If the rate limiting is having a negative effect on your application or product, there are some possible solutions to explore:
- Implementing retry logic in your application, to retry any request rejected with an HTTP 429 response
- Enqueueing your requests, and limiting the request to a rate at or below the rate limit
- Upgrading your account to a paid account, which provides higher rate limits
