Recently, I received a question from one of our SCORM Driver clients asking about the use of the F5 key. They have a client that during the QA process explored the use of the F5 key in an IE environment. During their QA process, they would hit F5 which would cause a chain of events that would eventually end in them receiving and LMS communications error. F5, of course, is the refresh/reload key, when you click this key while in your course, you are refreshing the connection to the index file...the first thing it is going to do is find the SCORM API and restart the initialization process. Since that has already started, the content will choke and throw the communciaton error.
