With the release of SCORM Engine 2009 last year, this question has come up quite a bit. The answer is really up to you, but there are a few things to consider prior to ignoring the upgrade path. With each new release, you will get any updates to the SCORM standard that we have added into the Engine. This keeps you on the cutting edge of the evolution of SCORM. Along with that, you get any fixes that we added during the time period between releases. These fixes may not mean a lot to you now, but it would be better to get those fixes in place, and have time to test them instead of an issue coming up with a client and having to implement the fix quickly...
