Another good question from one of our SCORM Engine clients. How does the our LMS source the value shown as "Course Progress" against a course? Is it based on
(a) cmi.core.lesson_status
(b) cmi.objectives…
(c) cmi.interactions…
(d) something else (please explain) or
(e) a combination of the above? (please explain)
Answer: The Course Progress that optionally shows up on your main deliver
page (beside the show/hide, exit course links, etc), calculates this
value by simply determining how many scos are completed and not failed.
So single sco courses will show 0 then 100%, not very helpful. There's
not really a great/reliable way of reporting progress, some clients may opt to
just not use it.
How is Course Progress Calculated by the SCORM Engine
