Tim... Can you tell me how many characters of suspend_data SCORM 2004 2nd and 3rd editions support? I think it's around 64,000, but I'm not sure.

I can indeed. The evolution of suspend_data has gone as follows:
- SCORM 1.2 --> 4096 characters
- SCORM 2004 2nd Edition --> 4000 characters (yes, it's smaller)
- SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th Editions --> 64,000 characters (yes, it's gigantic)
