Avatar

To install the plugin, simply place the unzipped 'scormcloud' folder in your wordpress wp-content/plugins folder and then activate it on the administrator 'plugins' page.

Note that this plugin requires at least PHP 5.6.

To configure the plugin, you'll need to use an ApplicationID/Secret Key associated with your SCORM Cloud account or sign up for a SCORM Cloud account here (https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/guest/SignUpForm). If you have any questions about the plugin or SCORM Cloud, please feel free to post your questions here or email support@rusticisoftware.com.

The plugin can be downloaded from the wordpress repository here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/scormcloud/

Please note: This plugin is not actively supported.

    Question,

I have a course in zip file which is 148 mb. I am trying to import it from the scorm cloud backend in the wordpress. It is taking too long (so far an hour) and I guess it will never finish uploading. How do I import those huge files? Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Raju,

You could try to import your course directly through the SCORM Cloud site. Make sure you upload from the Apps page, after selecting your app in the dropdown.

I have been uploading the courses with all the sizes as big as 175mb into the scorm cloud without any difficulties. Suddenly I got the following error"Import or update failed, error was: File upload caused an internal IO error: Read timed out" while I was uploading a course only 37mb. And I have no clue what is going on. Help please.

After I installed the SCORM cloud plugin for wordpress, I can not upload any images/files in the media library. I am using default twentyten template. When I deactivate the plugin, image uploader in  media library works fine. Please help.

    Hi Raju,

We saw this problem with the latest version of WordPress (3.3.1) and the SCORM Cloud plugin.  This should be fixed in version 1.1.4 of the plugin.  So make sure you have the latest plugin version if you are using the latest WordPress version.

Testing this out with a fresh install of wordpress 3.1.1 (multisite enabled) and SC version 1.1.4. testing with one course uploaded in the free account, but cannot seem to get courses to share across sites.  Is there an option I am missing - the only one I see in Network Admin/SCORM Cloud/Settings is the "Share" checkbox?

I am using version 1.1.3 on WP 3.2.1, and it seems to be working fine.

On New Post, I use the SCORM Cloud link icon to embed the link to SCORM quizzes. This is perfect. A SCORM quiz immediately inserted into my post / page.

However, I try to do the same for New Assignment (under WP Courseware plugin). And nothing happens. I overcome it by using HTML tag to insert directly. However, a direct icon click solution is preferable still.

Anybody know how to modify / addin the piece of code?

    Hi there,

I listed all the lessons as individual courses and now I am running out of the SCORM CLOUD plan (THE LITTLE, 50/month). I got email from you saying that i could combine the lessons and create courses. I want to create 4 courses out of all the lessons (43) I have uploaded in the SCORM server.

If I combined them, will I loose the data of the users? Example a user has finished the test, got certain score etc?

Also, do i follow the same process as in explained in  https://www.opensesame.com/blog/combining-multiple-scos-one-scorm-course? Eventhough that I have all the lessons uploaded in the server and users are using them?

It's been about 1.5 years since the last comment, and per the Wordpress plug-in download site, the plug-in has not been updated since 06-19-2012.

I'm hoping that this plugin still works correctly and that there are no usage issues with the latest Wordpress 3.7.1 ??

You guys are awesome, keep it up!

    Hey Jason,

To be honest, we have talked to some folks using the Wordpress Mod and having success with 3.5...but have not heard anything about 3.7.   That's not to say you will run into issues, we just haven't heard of any.  If you do run into anything, please don't hesitate to shoot us a message at support@scorm.com and we can look into what you are seeing.  Note, that we have pushed code update responsibility back to the community on this mod, so we may not have a code fix for anything that may happen, however we are happy to get you a path...

    Thank you,

    Joe

Nov 2015 update. Using WordPress 4.3.1 on a "managed" site (limited admin privileges). Works great!! A couple suggested clarifications: (1) the ftp upload to an API should state that it is the .zip file to upload and maybe have a couple screen shots of the method to import to the actual api and (2) a screen shot of where to look for the scormcloud icon on the "new page" page of WP. Lost a bit of time performing "exercises left to the reader" 8- )
