What to expect when you're Upgrading

Avatar

You’ve signed up for a Trial account, tested some courses, maybe even shared them. Somewhere along the way you fell in love with SCORM Cloud and upgraded to a paid account. Don’t worry, it happens to everyone. Transitioning from a Trial account to a paid account is pretty seamless, but there are some things that you should keep in mind.

First, clear out any existing test registrations in your Trial account. This will make keeping track of the new registrations you are sure to create with your new account even easier. To clear your registrations follow these 4 easy steps:

  1. Log in to cloud.scorm.com
  2. Click the ‘Account’ button
  3. Under Usage Information, click ‘Clear Existing Registrations

  4. Click ‘OK’. This will delete all existing registrations.

Second, you may also want to set up another realm to keep your test courses and your live courses separate. Creating another realm is really easy, just a few short steps.

  1. Log in to cloud.scorm.com
  2. Click ‘Your Realms’ in the top left corner of your SCORM Cloud Screen

  3. Click ‘Create New Realm'

  4. Give your new Realm a catchy name and select your account tier. Once you’re ready, click ‘Create Realm’.

Want to link your realms? No problem, here’s how!

Third, a few changes are headed your way. Depending on your account tier, your registration limit increases. You also get unlimited storage space, so you’ll never run out. Take a look at the chart below to see what you’ve got to work with!

We send any Owners the following notifications (*If applicable):

* When nearing the registration limit of the currently selected plan*
* When the limit for the currently selected plan is reached*
* A "tipping point" notification when it would make sense to upgrade to a higher tier*

We send the Billing Contact the following notifications:
* A few days prior to the bill being processed
* When the bill is processed

Lastly, but certainly not least, you get a fast pass for support. Not that we don’t try to help everyone who asks us a SCORM question, we do, but we always move our paying customers to the front of the line.
