Stub Package Video

This video covers how to set up a token, license, and course in order to create a stub package.

 

 

 

Create A Token

  1. Using the side menu, navigate to Tokens.

  2. On the Access Tokens page, select Create Token in the top right.

  3. Give your token a unique name, make sure it is active to allow access, and set an expiration date (this is optional).

  4. Select Save.

  5. Check that your new token is listed in the Access Tokens table.

Create A License

  1. Using the side menu, navigate to Licenses.

  2. On the Licenses page, select Create License in the top right.

  3. Give your license a unique name.

  4. Select Active to allow access.

  5. Select a Usage Rule. If you do not want to limit usage, choose “No Limits”.

  6. You can choose to have client side encoding in the

  7. Set an expiration date (this is optional).

  8. Select Save.

  9. Check that your new token is listed in the Access Tokens table.

Upload A Course

  1. Using the side menu, navigate to Courses.

  2. Take note of the “Courses in Category” title. Is this the category you want your course to be a part of? If this is the correct category skip step 3.

  3. In the top right corner select “Show Categories”. Select the desired category from the ones shown in the Categories list.

  4. In the top right corner, select “Create Course”.

  5. On the Create Course page select “Upload Local”.

  6. Select the course located on your computer and select “Open”.

  7. Once your course is uploaded you will be taken to your new course page. Check that the Course Type, Title, and Category are correct.

Create A Stub

  1. Navigate to the course to create a stub for.

  2. In the top right select “Add Stub”.

  3. Choose the appropriate token and license. For a basic stub package leave the default values on the additional stub settings. More information can be found on stub settings in the Stub Package Video.

  4. Select Create stub.

  5. Once the stub is created a success message will be displayed on the course page. Select the download icon next to the stub package to download the stub.
