I just uploaded a course authored in Flash. It runs fine but I get this compiler error from Test Track:
The external metadata referenced at /mnt/content/courses/prod.testtrack/e027dd8c-d25f-44e7-9b65-1fd844e140e0/0/Project_Backups/TEST_BED/SCORM/SCORM-Timer/completed\imsmetadata.xml could not be opened. The specific exception was: XMLDoc at following location could not be found: /mnt/content/courses/prod.testtrack/e027dd8c-d25f-44e7-9b65-1fd844e140e0/0/Project_Backups/TEST_BED/SCORM/SCORM-Timer/completed/imsmetadata.xml. (Manifest Level Metadata)
I've never seen this before (I usually author with Lectora). This course also does not show up on our eLogic LMS. Any idea what this error message means? Thanks
This parser warning is telling you that your manifest references a file called imsmetadata.xml that it can not find. I would check your zip file to make sure that the file is included or if you do not need the file, remove this line from the manifest:
<adlcp:location>imsmetadata.xml</adlcp:location>
